A young man named Link is having a strange dream depicting a gigantic dark beast and a mysterious person. The people of Skyloft know next to nothing about the land beneath the clouds. In present day Skyloft, a small civilization has been formed where most memories and records of the Surface have been forgotten and lost.

However, a goddess cannot use the Triforce, so Hylia gave up her immortality and was reincarnated as a mortal Hylian. Hylia knew that she would be powerless to stop the forces for a second time, so she required the use of the Triforce to defeat them again. However, the humans remained in Skyloft, as Hylia knew that the seal on the evil would not hold forever. Hylia eventually sealed the evil forces away, restoring peace to the Surface. With the humans safe, Hylia joined the land dwellers and fought the evil forces in a war of unmatched scale and ferocity. This piece of land came to be known as Skyloft. Hylia gathered the Triforce and the remaining survivors onto a piece of earth and sent it skyward beyond the clouds. This power, passed down by the Golden Goddesses, was guarded by Hylia, the goddess of the land. They did this in search of the Triforce, the ultimate power capable of granting any wishes of its holder. These forces attacked the people of the earth, slaughtering them and destroying their land.

Long before the events of Skyward Sword, the earth cracked and evil forces rushed out of the fissure. (12-27-2014, 02:50 PM)Woogoo Wrote: I had the same problem.Story Prologue Main article: Ancient Battle If your not in hybrid mode with a mouse pointer then I don't know what to say.

A sensor bar will be the best because it will calibrate the Motion Plus while your playing and its not an open flame. I plan to get a DolphinBar so I have to do that until then. I am using 3 to get through calibration and then blowing them out. I do not recommend this for extended use. Place 2 candles infront of your screen about 10-11 inches apart and light them (don't put it too close to the screen) The candles will then work like a sensor bar and youll have the IR pointer to get past startup. Use the candle trick to get the IR pointer. Also don't disconnect the wiimote because you'll have to start over at your last save.ģ. Use the mouse to get a savestart on the title screen. Use savestates instead of the built in loading to bypass the startup screen where you need the IR. Get a DolphinBar and use it to get proper IR.Ģ. First change controller type to Real Wiimote because your probably on Hybrid.ġ. There are 3 ways to get past the startup screen that I know of. But you need the IR cursor to get past the startup. The wii will always try to keep the Motion Plus calibrated to where the IR cursor is on the screen, because when using a mouse the cursor is always on the screen in the same place unless you move it, the Motion Plus cursor gets stuck.

If you are using a mouse for the IR pointer, it causes the Motion Plus to stick where the cursor is. Here's my settings: įirst, the cursor on the Callibration screen is the IR cursor, all the others are Motion Plus cursors. Game seems to be running smoothly at a steady 30fps (on the main menu at least). My bluetooth adapter should be more than good enough - it's the internal one on my MSI Z87I Gaming AC mITX which should be a pretty good motherboard. I'm using a cheap IR bar from ebay, not sure if that matters. As soon as it reaches the main menu it's unusable. Like I said the pointer worked properly on the initial setup, so I'm confused. It seems super unresponsive and moving the remote up moves the cursor down on the screen and vice versa. But on the main menu the pointer goes all wonky. I launch skyward sword and it seems to work properly at the intital screen where it calibrates the remote on a flat surface and says point the cursor at the center of the screen and press A. I have a newer version of the wiimote motion plus which I think I successfully connected using the bluetooth stack.
